Overview
Nathaniel's corporate and transactional practice is focused on helping his clients achieve their business objectives within the complex and ever-evolving energy industry. He brings a wide range of experiences to bear for his clients, serving as counsel for developers, utilities, independent power producers, electric cooperatives, financers, investors and agencies; locally, regionally, and nationally.
Nathaniel specializes in renewable energy projects, which includes wind and solar farms, energy storage systems, renewable natural gas production and low-emission hydrogen equipment. He routinely structures acquisitions, sales and financings of energy projects, and negotiates complex contracts, including energy and gas purchase agreements (both virtual and actual), engineering, procurement and construction agreements, balance of plant agreements, supply agreements, and more.
Given his significant experience in representing energy clients, Nathaniel is well-versed in the challenges facing businesses within the industry. He stays up-to-date on the latest laws and regulations, to advise on the latest in laws and regulation, as well as market practices, which enables him to provide exceptional advice to his clients.
Prior to joining Stinson, Nathaniel worked at a downtown Boston law firm.
