Rachel is skilled in handling acquisition and sale of commercial and multitenant properties, frequently drafting and negotiating office and retail leases for commercial landlords and tenants. Rachel also assists clients with drafting and negotiating complex agreements related to purchase and sale transactions.
Experience
Represented landlords and tenants in negotiations for more than 500,000 large office and retail spaces, including complex tenant and landlord build out arrangements.
She has represented developers in the negotiation and sale of raw ground subject to a TIF for multi-family development.
She represents a national bank in the negotiation of ground leases for her client's expansion into the Midwest.
Represented clients in agricultural matters, including the drafting and negotiation of farm leases, and the purchase of agricultural land subject to existing oil and mineral rights.
She represented a major financial institution in the purchases of vacant property with environmental issues and assisted client with the processes of remediation for such sites.
Rachel represents local developers in the management of large scale commercial properties around the Midwest, including managing landlord tenant relations and issues.
Represents real estate investment trusts (REIT) in the purchase, sale, and leasing of retail, educational, and entertainment projects nationwide.
She represents large commercial lenders by assisting with due diligence for real estate and construction loans.
She has represented lenders in the development and financing of a multi-million-dollar wind project in a Midwestern state.
