Vorys attorneys Peggy Baron and Elizabeth Howard hosted a webinar titled, “Become a “Qualified” Expert: Legal Requirements and Best Practices in Administering Qualified Domestic Relations Orders” on August 6, 2019. This webinar reviewed the basic statutory requirements retirement plan administrators must follow when they receive a qualified domestic relations order (QDRO). Additionally, they discussed some of the unusual or tricky QDRO situations they have encountered over the years along with advice and best practices on how to address those issues.
