"Most Favored Nation" Clauses in Health Care: What is All the Fuss About?

Vorys hosted a complimentary teleseminar on February 16, 2011.
We discussed the different types of rate clauses and the implications for entities that have them in their contracts. We probed the arguments as to whether “Most Favored Nation” clauses are pro-consumer or anticompetitive. Additionally, we discussed the recent and closely watched lawsuit brought by the Department of Justice against the Michigan Blue Cross Plan.
