Island Music Conference 

Jabari Shaw, an associate in the Cincinnati office and a member of the intellectual property group, served as a panelist at the Island Music Conference in Kingston, Jamaica on February 22.  He brought a legal perspective to a panel titled "Record Deal vs. Publishing Deal vs. Distribution Deal," focusing particularly on the different music industry deals and the intellectual property considerations connected with each.  The panel also included representatives from a record label and talent management agency.
