2025 Retail Law Conference 

Nici Workman and Cauley Oliver, Vorys attorneys and members of the firm's finance group, participated in a panel titled "Partnering for Success: A Practical Guide for Retail Counsel on Finance Transactions and Related Legal Issues" as part of the Retail Law Conference in St. Petersburg, FL on October 9, 2025.  The discussion revolved around preparing in-house counsel for working effectively with outside counsel in complex financial transactions, as well as exploring the nuances of finance transactions relevant when negotiating a range of other contracts.  They were joined by Suzanne Whisler, vice president of legal for Designer Brands and Steven Gazdag, assistant legal counsel for Abercrombie & Fitch.
