The Combined Effect of Alcohol and Cannabis on Driving Impairment

Elizabeth T. Smith, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office, presented a webinar hosted by the Ohio Associate of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA) titled "The Combined Effect of Alcohol and Cannabis on Driving Impairment."  In the presentation, the scientific literature supporting the additive effect of the combined use of alcohol and cannabis on driving impairment was reviewed along with policy recommendations based on these findings.
