Webinar: Translating Employment Law into Clear, Meaningful and Defensible Company Policy

Mark Knueve, a partner in the Vorys Columbus office, and Julie McDonald, the firm's chief human resources officer, presented a webinar for the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) on April 24.  The presentation was titled "Translating Employment Law into Clear, Meaningful and Defensible Company Policy."  They discussed the different types of employment law, who issues them and how to stay aware of changes.  Attendees gained understanding around the purpose of company policies and how to make them clear, meaningful and defensible.
