Patent Agent or Scientific Advisor – Mechanical
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP currently seeks a patent agent or scientific advisor preferably with at least two years of patent prosecution and drafting experience to join its fast-growing intellectual property practice. Technical experience in areas of mechanical engineering, medical devices, and oilfield tools is strongly preferred. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills. This position provides an excellent compensation and benefits package.
This position can be based in any one of the firm’s offices and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. At this time, candidates who would work in the following states will not be considered for this role: VT, RI, NY, NJ, NH, MI, ME, MA, DE, CO, CT, CA, and AZ.
