Albers Quoted in Crain’s Cleveland Business article on Potential Health Care Sector Changes in 2012
Matt Albers, of counsel in the firm’s Cleveland office, was quoted in a Crain’s Cleveland Business article titled “Economic Outlook 2012: Health care.” The article, which was featured in the January 2, 2012 edition of the paper, highlighted the possible changes that could have an impact on health care providers, in the upcoming year.
The article states: “Still, hospitals in 2012 are expected to continue to take scalpels to their budgets as they attempt to do more with less. Their actions could include the further consolidation of services and the cutting of even more staff.
‘What I would see happening is the same thing that has been happening — massive institutional efforts to cut costs and reduce discretionary expenses,’ said Matthew Albers, an attorney in the health care group at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Cleveland. ‘As always, any time you need to cut costs, people are going to be cut.’”
