Brown Named Litigation and Practice Support Champion
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Julie Brown, the firm’s litigation technology executive manager, has been named the Litigation and Practice Support Champion by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).
This was the second year of ILTA’s Distinguished Peer Award program, which recognizes premiership and provides a forum for peer-nominated, peer-judged innovations in technology. The association honors one individual, who delivered great business value and had a transformational impact through their innovations and implementations, as the Litigation and Practice Support Champion.
Brown was recognized for her work streamlining Vorys’ litigation technology processes, reducing client costs and ensuring that processes are consistent throughout the firm. ILTA also acknowledged Brown’s creative methods for educating attorneys and paralegals in electronic discovery.
Brown has a paralegal degree and has worked in legal technology for more than 20 years. She manages Vorys' Litigation Technology Department, which provides in-house support, training, processing and production of e-discovery. Brown is active in coordinating litigation technology education opportunities for ILTA and serves on the association’s Litigation Support Steering Committee.
