Experienced Litigator Adam Hamburg Joins Vorys in California
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP announced today that experienced litigator Adam Hamburg joined the firm’s California office as a partner. His practice focuses on high-stakes litigation in both federal and state courts.
“Adam’s well-rounded business litigation experience provides an immediate boost to our busy employment practice in the Vorys California office. He’s a fantastic addition,” said Tom McCormick, the office’s managing partner. “Our firm assists clients in the financial services and real estate industries on a wide array of legal matters across the U.S. As such, we’re excited to have a partner, based in California, with significant litigation experience in those industries.”
Hamburg has spent his legal career in California representing international, national and local clients of all sizes in a wide spectrum of litigation matters. He has handled commercial litigation, complex business disputes, financial services litigation, creditors’ rights, corporate shareholder and partnership disputes, and trade secret litigation. These litigation matters have covered a variety of industries, including financial institutions, the automotive industry, construction and real estate.
“While the Vorys California office just recently opened, it’s no secret that Vorys lawyers have a significant amount of experience representing clients in legal matters throughout the state,” said Hamburg. “The firm’s collegial culture and focus on growing its California-based matters made it a great fit for me.”
Before he began law school, Hamburg spent several years working in project management in the construction industry. His experience in this particular industry gives him a valuable understanding of the business issues that can drive litigation, including contractual and commercial disputes, financing and real estate-related issues.
Hamburg is a member of the California Bar Association and its Business and Real Property sections. He is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
Hamburg earned his J.D. from Western State University College of Law and his B.A. from St. Lawrence University.
