Pan Named Vice Managing Partner of Vorys' Cincinnati Office
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP announced today that Emily Pan has become the vice managing partner of the firm’s Cincinnati office. In this new role, Pan will take on several responsibilities related to the management of Vorys’ second largest office and will serve on the firm’s management committee. Pan joins the ranks of a small group women from the largest law firms in Cincinnati serving in leadership roles.
“Emily is a fantastic lawyer with the utmost integrity. She is widely respected as a leader here in Cincinnati and across our firm,” said Nate Lampley, the Vorys Cincinnati office managing partner. “Emily will accede to my position as managing partner when I retire in the future. I’m looking forward to working with her in her new role.”
Pan serves in other leadership roles within and outside of the firm. Pan is a member of the firm’s Strategic Operations and Planning Committee. She is a 2017 fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, serves as the president of the Board of Directors for The Patty Brisben Foundation for Women’s Sexual Health, and serves on the executive committee of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section. Pan, an estate planning attorney, was elevated to partner in 2015.

Pan’s legal practice ranges from representing individuals with their estate planning and wealth transfer needs, corporate fiduciaries with respect to trust and estate administration issues and nonprofit organizations with their tax exempt compliance. Pan is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). ACTEC is an organization consisting of lawyers and law professors who are elected to be fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching and participating in bar activities.
Pan received her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and her B.B.A. cum laude from the University of Miami.
