Parobek and Bixenstine Appointed to Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation Leadership Positions
Drew Parobek, a partner in the Vorys Cleveland office, was recently appointed to serve as the treasurer of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation (CMBF). Barton Bixenstine, also a partner in the Vorys Cleveland office, was appointed to the CMBF Board of Trustees. Serving as the charitable arm of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA), the CMBF is a fundraising vehicle for CMBA members to collectively provide outstanding programs and initiatives that serve the Cleveland metropolitan community and promote pro bono legal assistance and public law-related education.
Parobek chairs the Vorys workouts and restructuring subgroup. He focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial finance, commercial transactions and business law, including collections, creditors rights, foreclosures, garnishments, lending and secured transactions, reorganizations and restructurings, the Uniform Commercial Code, and workouts.
Bixenstine is a member of the Vorys labor and employment group, and also serves as a mediator and arbitrator in employment and commercial disputes. He is a certified specialist in employment and labor law and a fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
