Vorys Advisors Welcomes Glenn Enslen
Vorys Advisors LLC announced today that Glenn Enslen will assist the company as a strategic advisor in Eastern Ohio.
Vorys Advisors is a wholly owned affiliate of the law firm, Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. The bi-partisan Vorys Advisors team assists companies that are working with state, local and federal government; consults on economic development and infrastructure projects; helps to establish important relationships and networks for clients; and consults on public policy strategies. Enslen – who most recently served as the economic development director for Carroll County, Ohio – will work with political subdivisions within the Utica Shale region to ensure they are capitalizing on the opportunities that the shale play presents to the area.
Enslen, of Sherrodsville, Ohio, served as district deputy director for Ohio’s 18th Congressional District, when the seat was held by Zack Space, who is now a principal at Vorys Advisors. In the position, Enslen attracted more than $700 million in economic investments to the region in a four-year period from federal, state and private sources. He was also credited with bringing more than 500 jobs to the region, improving coal miner training and expanding broadband internet access within Appalachia.
Enslen has worked throughout Eastern Ohio for 27 years. Prior to working in the office of Congressman Space, he operated his own consulting firm and was employed by Hocking, Athens, Perry Community Action Agency as the director of employment and training programs. Additionally, Enslen served for a time as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Labor in the Ukraine.
