Vorys Named Go-To Law Firm for Tenth Straight Year by Fortune 500 Clients

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP has been recognized as a 2013 Go-To Law Firm® in American Lawyer Media’s (ALM) tenth annual survey of in-house counsel at the top 500 companies in the United States. Less than one percent of all law firms in the U.S. are recognized with this respected honor each year and Vorys has been recognized every year since the inception of the survey in multiple practice areas.  Vorys was chosen based on feedback from some of the largest and most respected companies in the nation, including: Abbot Laboratories, Big Lots, Inc., Cardinal Health, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Goodrich, Hess Corporation, Honeywell, US Bancorp and Whirlpool.

The survey results appeared in ALM’s 2013 edition of In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies.  In the survey, ALM asked general counsel at the top 500 U.S. companies which outside law firms they turn to first to handle their most challenging legal needs and which firms they preferred in a variety of practice areas.  The survey along with research from key databases formed the basis for the Vorys’ selection as a Go-To Law Firm®.  Nine companies named Vorys as their firm of choice in four practice areas: contracts litigation, intellectual property litigation, labor litigation and torts litigation.
