Núñez Selected for the American College of Real Estate Lawyers
Vorys is pleased to announce that Jacinto Núñez, a partner in the firm’s Akron office, will be inducted into the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). Admission to the organization is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process, making it the premier organization of real estate lawyers in the United States.
According to ACREL, the organization’s distinguished, nationally known lawyers are selected to fellowship for their outstanding legal abilities, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law. Vorys partners Sheila Gartland and Ted Smith are also ACREL fellows.
Núñez advises clients on many aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquiring and selling real estate; ground, retail, industrial and office leasing; development; financing; oil and gas leasing and title; and other real estate matters. In addition to his general real estate practice, Núñez is actively involved in the firm’s economic development incentives practice, representing developers, operating businesses and political subdivisions in economic development matters. He has a wealth of experience assisting businesses in securing local and state economic development incentives to support expansion and new construction projects. Núñez also devotes a portion of his practice to real property tax valuation matters in Ohio and Florida.
Núñez received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law, where he was a citations editor and an assistant editor of the Akron Law Review. He also earned a master’s of music education and a master’s of music performance from the University of Akron. He received his B.M. from the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music.
