Patent and Trademark Office Extends Filing and Payment Deadlines for COVID-Related Causes
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announced yesterday (March 31, 2020) that certain patent and trademark filing and payment deadlines have been extended in response to delays caused by the new coronavirus outbreak. By submitting a statement that parties were affected by the virus, filing deadlines falling between March 27 and April 30 will be extended 30 days from the initial due date.
