Overview

Cameron is a patent agent in the Vorys Pittsburgh office and a member of the intellectual property (IP) group.  He has experience in preparing and prosecuting in the mechanical, electromechanical and nuclear fields.  He also has experience in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications and filing appeals to the Patent Trial and Appeals Board (PTAB).  In regard to technologies, Cameron has experience with medical devices, including surgical staples, electrosurgical instruments, harmonic scalpels, robotic surgical instruments and surgical instrument operating algorithms.  Additionally, he has experience with nuclear technologies, like small module reactors, communication systems, safety systems, therapeutic radioisotopes and enhances fuel sources.

Cameron received his MS in biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.  He received his B.S. in mechanical engineering with a minor in engineering mechanics from The Pennsylvania State University.
