Webinar: Aviation Lawyer Russ Klingaman to Provide Update on New Drone Law Rules and Best Practices
Hinshaw's Russ Klingaman—who focuses his practice on aviation and business law—will serve as an instructor for an NBI seminar titled "Drone Law: New Rules and Legal Best Practices for the use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems," on April 28, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central. The program will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the current legal landscape regarding Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), also known as drones. A licensed pilot, aircraft owner, adjunct professor of aviation law, and past president of the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, Klingaman will speak about (1) new laws and regulations governing recreational use of drones, and (2) federal and state efforts to investigate and/or take enforcement actions against persons accused of being involved in unlawful drone operations.
