Hinshaw Managing Partner Bob Shannon Appointed to Alumni Board of Governors of Loyola Law School
The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that the Firm's Managing Partner Bob Shannon has been appointed to the Alumni Board of Governors of Loyola Law School. He joins Sonia Antolec (JD, 2007), Desiree Moore (JD, 2005) and Frank Tennant (JD, 1979) as new members of the board.
The Alumni Board of Governors works to promote a close relationship between the more than 11,500 law school alumni and Loyola Law School. It also works closely with Dean Michael Kaufman to support the law school's programs and initiatives.
In 2018, Loyola Law School is celebrating the centennial of its founding. A key purpose of establishing the school was to fill a gap in Chicago legal education for working people, a goal that has continued throughout the school's history. A Centennial History of the school is available for download at the Loyola Law School Alumni website (PDF).
Shannon is a graduate of Loyola Law School (J.D.) and Indiana University (B.A.). He is a former faculty member of Loyola Law School, where he taught oral advocacy and legal writing. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Shannon currently serves as the Managing Partner of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP and is also a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
