Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP Appoints Steven Lehner Partner-in-Charge of Firm's Tampa Office
The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Steven D. Lehner has been appointed as the new Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Tampa, Florida office. Succeeding partner Bruce Bennett in the role, Lehner will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the office, which serves insurance, corporate, and individual business clients in both litigation and transactional matters.
An experienced litigator, Lehner advises clients on employee benefits matters—both ERISA and non-ERISA. He handles life, health, and disability claims, as well as annuity, suitability, long-term care coverage, and provider disputes. Lehner also defends insurance companies and self-insured clients in a variety of liability and coverage disputes and litigation.
Lehner is a graduate of the University of Florida School of Law (J.D.) and Southern Methodist University (B.S. and B.B.A., with honors). He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. In addition to being a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Lehner is a member of the Federal Bar Association and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
