Madeline Cook

Madeline Cook’s practice focuses on complex insurance coverage disputes and bad-faith litigation. She counsels insurers in all phases of litigation.

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Madeline worked for a DC-based boutique employment law firm. Here, Madeline handled disputes arising under state and federal anti-discrimination and anti-retaliation statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the antiretaliation provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and the antiretaliation provisions of the False Claims Act. She also handled whistleblower claims under the False Claims Act, through the FIRREA/FIAFEA whistleblower program, and through the SEC whistleblower program.

While in law school, Madeline served as the secretary for the Law Association for Women and was a member of the International Law in Domestic Courts journal.
