Katherine Woods represents insurance companies in various litigation matters, including insurance coverage, construction, bad faith, and extra-contractual liability. Her practice focuses on commercial general liability and excess coverages, particularly in claims related to large project construction defects. Additionally, Katherine provides counsel to her clients on claims handling and management.
Katherine manages all aspects of the litigation process and has defended lawsuits in both state and federal courts throughout Florida for local and national clients.
Katherine began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida, where she gained significant trial experience. Prior to joining Hinshaw, she was a partner at an insurance defense firm.

Katherine is a native of Miami, Florida, and now resides in Jacksonville with her family. When she is not working, she enjoys cheering on the Seminoles with her husband, Jeremy, and her daughters, Paige and Lauren.
