Stephanie R. Soprani

Stephanie represents professionals—including architects, engineers, and contractors–in litigation and transactional work. She has extensive experience handling litigated matters arising from the design and construction process. Stephanie has also represented clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters involving construction law, product liability, general property and casualty, and insurance coverage claims. Armed with experience and knowledge that includes handling cases with multimillion-dollar exposure, Stephanie works with construction industry professionals—including contractors, project managers, owners, architects, and engineers—to provide them with solutions tailored to their unique business needs and goals.

Stephanie has successfully disposed of cases through dispositive motion and resolved cases through settlement negotiation, pre-trial settlement conferences, and mediation. She is actively involved in all stages of litigation, and is committed to being accessible to her clients throughout the litigation process.

Previously, Stephanie practiced in the fields of medical malpractice, premises liability, personal injury, and defended investment firms and brokers in securities litigation and coverage disputes.

Among her other law school accomplishments, Stephanie served on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association, and competed in oral advocacy while serving on the board of the Moot Court Honor Society. Stephanie interned with the Connecticut Legislature's Speaker of the House, and interned at Fila USA, Inc., in New York City, where she served as the Assistant to the General Counsel. Stephanie also obtained her Masters in Business Administration while in law school.

During her undergraduate studies at Merrimack College, Stephanie played Division II Women's Field Hockey for four years.
