Jones Selected as a 2025 40 Under 40 Honoree by American Bankruptcy Institute

Stinson LLP Partner Brad Jones has been recognized as a 2025 "40 Under 40" honoree by American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI). The annual award highlights individuals who demonstrate remarkable ability, leadership and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community. Honorees are selected by a committee of industry leaders based on their accomplishments and impact on the profession.

Jones represents debtors, creditors and trustees in complex bankruptcy and commercial litigation, including fraudulent transfer, preference and other recovery disputes. An experienced trial attorney and appointed Chapter 11 trustee, he brings a blend of courtroom skill, strategic insight and public service to his practice — qualities that earned him recognition among this year’s ABI honorees. Drawing on his experience as a former U.S. Department of Justice Trial Attorney, Jones has led cases involving health care, commercial real estate and technology companies, consistently helping clients navigate high-stakes matters with creativity and precision.

As a rising leader in the bankruptcy community, Jones serves on the amicus committee of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, where he advises and files briefs on nationally significant bankruptcy issues. A fixture in the bankruptcy bar for the Eastern District of Virginia and District of Columbia, he is frequently sought out as local counsel in nationally prominent cases and maintains an active pro bono practice supporting access to justice for underserved clients.
