White and Williams Welcomes Six New Partners and Counsel
White and Williams LLP is pleased to announce the addition of four Partners and two Counsel to the Firm. All of the new attorneys joining the Firm will be members of the Business Department. The Firm welcomes as Partners Bonita K. Black, James P. Carlon, Michael JW Rennock, and Clara Krivoy. Bonita Black is a member of the Corporate and Securities practice group and resident in the New York, NY office. James Carlon is a member of the Real Estate Finance practice group and resident in the Stamford, CT office. Michael Rennock is a member of the Corporate and Securities practice group and resident in the New York, NY office. Clara Krivoy is a member of the Corporate and Securities practice group and resident in the New York, NY office. The firm also welcomes as Counsel Jeremiah J. Vandermark and Jeremy R. Teaberry. Jeremiah J. Vandermark is a member of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group and resident in the New York, NY office. Jeremy R. Teaberry is a member of the Real Estate Finance practice group and resident in the Philadelphia, PA office.

For over 30 years, Bonita K. Black, Partner, has focused her practice in the areas of general corporate law, including corporate, structured and public finance law, mergers and acquisitions and divestitures. She will be leading the Firm’s first Public Finance practice. Bonita has experience in corporate and non-profit governance law and compliance issues, municipal securities law, taxable and tax-exempt financings, securitization transactions, debt and equity offerings, cross border transactions, governmental bonds, telecommunications regulatory issues and real estate financings. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School, J.D. and the University of Kentucky, B.A., summa cum laude.
James P. Carlon, Partner, brings over 25 years of experience focusing on commercial real estate transactions throughout the U.S. He represents developers in construction and permanent financing, acquisitions, sales and other sophisticated transactions, as well as commercial real estate owners and tenants in lease transactions. James also has years of experience helping clients with diverse commercial real estate transactions, such as office developments, retail properties and apartment complexes. Jim earned his J.D. from New York Law School, magna cum laude, and graduated from Fairfield University, B.A., cum laude.
Michael JW Rennock, Partner, has over 30 years of experience advising buyers and sellers in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures across multiple industries, as well as advising startups and handling securities offerings, venture financings, corporate governance, and private equity matters. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Law, J.D., and received his B.A. from Harvard University.
Clara Krivoy, Partner, will be leading two new practice areas for the Firm: Latin America and Blockchain & Digital Assets. With over 30 years of experience, Clara is a recognized international lawyer who focuses on cross-border transactions, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution involving Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, and Portugal, as well as the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem and digital assets space. She earned her J.D. from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela, and she earned both an MCJ (Master of Comparative Jurisprudence) and LL.M. (Master of Laws) from New York University School of Law.

Jeremy R. Teaberry, Counsel, has over 17 years of experience focusing on complex real estate and asset-based lending transactions for large and regional institutional lenders, life insurance companies, debt funds, alternative lenders and borrowers across the United States, including representing lenders on multi-party mortgage and mezzanine financings. He is a graduate of Vermont Law School, J.D. and the University of Michigan, B.S.
Jeremiah J. Vandermark, Counsel, focuses on providing counsel to financial institutions, tech companies and other parties-in-interest in relation to financially distressed businesses, including complex reorganizations, litigation, work outs and financial restructurings. He regularly litigates matters before the state, federal and bankruptcy courts of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Jeremiah is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, J.D. and the University of Pittsburgh, B.A.
