Charles P. De La Cruz

Charles De La Cruz is a thorough and experienced litigator, focusing on the defense of personal injury, property damage, and health care services matters. Charles partners with his clients to ensure they are well-informed and provides simple, tailored solutions to their complex legal problems.

Charles dedicates a significant part of his practice to issues involving long-term care across skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, retirement communities, and home health agencies. He also routinely defends long-term care facilities in administrative matters against the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Before joining Hinshaw, Charles practiced law at a Chicago-based firm where he focused on the defense of commercial, construction, product liability, and transportation claims. During law school, Charles served as an extern in the Illinois Appellate Court and the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
